With Arizona's Working Poor Tax Credit you can receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, up to $200 if filing single or $400 if filing a joint return, on your state income taxes. Yes. You must itemize deductions on your Arizona state income tax return even though you may not have itemized your deductions on your federal return.
How do I know Unlimited Potential is eligible for this donation?
A charitable organization must submit written certification on a prescribed application form to
the Department of Revenue along with other information and documents. You can view the listing of qualifying charitable organizations on the Department of Revenue website at any time. You can also ask the Unlimited Potential to see a copy of the qualifying charitable organization certificate issued by the department to the charitable organization. You can also contact the department to see if the charitable organization is a qualifying charitable organization.
